In 2004, Laura Lucht moved to Portland, Oregon from New Haven, Connecticut, brining her creative talents in several mediums with her. Upon arrival she was introduced to fusing glass and quickly fell in love with the glass arts. From 2006 to 2012, she co-owned a working glass art studio in the heart of the Alberta Arts District of Portland, Oregon, known as This Place Blows. This is where her passion for creating fused glass art inspired by nature was revealed and nurtured. Today, Laura continues her creative journey fusing nature-inspired fine art glass and gifts from her private home art studio in Keizer, Oregon, and shows her artwork in galleries and fine art festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest.
