It is Keizer Art Association's privilege and distinct pleasure to recognize Linda Chatfield as our Artist of the month. Linda is an accomplished and recognized artist who enjoys working with many mediums.

Linda, originally from New England, moved to Woodburn from Delaware in 2018 to be near her family.

Linda has been making art all of her life, selling her first portrait in her teens. She has a BFA from Boston University and MSArtEd from Delaware State University, and served as Executive Director of three museums in New York, Maryland and Delaware. In Delaware she taught at several local colleges. Now she volunteers to present exhibits of work by area artists in the Living Room at the Woodburn Estates Country Club. To date, she has presented 29 exhibits there. She is the Vice President at the Woodburn Art Center, and Chair for the upcoming Keizer Riverwalk Art Fair.

Linda enjoys working and teaching in various media, from oil and acrylic to pastel, watercolor and printmaking. For her exhibit here she selected a variety of work in several media. Linda is fascinated with the topography of the human face as well as the myth and mystery found in the landscape. Her subjects often reflect her work in living history.
